    I want a Disk

Iracing is to good for a disk?

  • theranster9:

The interviewer needs to be hit in the head with an iron frying pan.

  • dienkonig33:

@bmxking46 Why shouldnt it be a hobby? Its fun, the competition is good. The game (As well as the whole racing experience) IRacing provide is really well made and the ammount of toys you can get will keep you entertained for months. We spend no more money than anyone else (You can spend a much or as little you like, $300 is an overstatement) would on a hobby, and its a aweful lot cheaper still than RC racing for example

  • bunkyind:

i have practeced with dale twice and he is very nice, and i racing is badass, and he has spoken with us, but most of us know to practice and dont talk his head off!!! and to bmxking thats why we dont like people like you in iracing , so stay at your ps2 , and change your name to bmxqueen!!!

  • franzbri:

Why even bother with the PS2 then? Back in the old days people entertained themselves with sticks and stones.

  • MadCat360:

@bmxking46 Sim racing is part of my training. I use simulators like iRacing and Live for Speed to help me when I drive real race cars.

  • bmxking46:

ok….i understand that it helps drivers learn tracks, but dale sr. and all the legends that made this sport great, and the roots of the sport never had this shit….and people wonder why the sport sucks now….its a video game….i mean seriously, it really shouldnt be a hobby than more or less fast entertainment….i would never spend 300 dollars on a racing wheel, ill stick to my cheap ass logitech ps2 wheel

  • bmxking46:

or you could go outside and live life…

  • guitarman2134568:

SHUT UP DUDE! GOD DAMN JUST SHUT UP!

  • teamphat:

Its the best Racing Simulation of all time. The only way for us mortals to experience what it feels like to race.

Some race fans like to follow motorsport simply by watching it on TV, some race fans like to race themselfs

  • MadCat360:

@99boyz Hey guess what? You know that rFactor disk you bought? You don’t own that either. Ever read a terms of use agreement before installing a game? The game is a license to use the software. You don’t own the software.

  • 99boyz:

yea but guess what you still dont own it

  • MadCat360:

rFactor isn’t nearly as good. The content is made by amateurs, almost none of whom have driven the cars they model, and sometimes haven’t even been to the tracks they create.

In iRacing, I can run Infineon, and the bumps are in exactly the right place, the elevation changes are exactly the same dimensions, and they all affect the car in the right way.

You want to afford iRacing? Get a job. It’s 10 bucks a month if you pay every 6 months, and content can be bought with participation credits.

  • DonLduk:

hey i’m Dale Jr. please subscribe to my videos and i will draft with you next time at Tally.

  • 99boyz:

    Rfactor is free

    so beat that

  • lonestarrc:

@99boyz You obviously have no clue do you? Its much much cheaper than my RC racing and its about 100 times more fun. Cheapest hobby I have ever had. 7 or 8 dollars a month aint bad, maybe you should do some research. $99 bucks a year divided by 12, you do the match

  • 99boyz:

i argee sort of im tired of hearing of iracing
    its all money

  • minnesota9801:

Do you have to have a steering wheel

  • RancheroBFT:

stop showing off dude, I can’t even afford the fuckin game

  • sivvybee:

He is cool in there. Has even text chatted with us in the server. Gave me setup help once. Very cool guy.
