this is a great song. every week i look out on that track looking for the black number 3 but cant find it. i cried the day that happened and i aslo cried on july 2nd when dale jr drove the number 3 into vitory lane. We miss you dale.

i usually dont get into the dale sr tribute songs cuz its a blurry line between admiration and going overboard with emotion about someone they never met(i did have the honor of meeting dale btw) ive always been a huge fan of his its just not been my way of remembering him. but this song nailed it. not too “cheesy” but not completly de-void of emotion either kudos you wrote a great song on a hard subject
