@cpcomedy314 it’s pretty easy to get a top 5 when half the field is in the garage. and shocker! he won a race at daytona.

@allenrw3 Kyle Petty hasnt won the daytona 500, two consecutive busch series titles, the all star race, the bud shootout twice, doesnt have 18 cup wins, or 22 nationwide wins. you picked the wrong driver for a comparison
and by the way, the constant inconsistency is not Dale’s fault. its not his fault if his team misperforms, don’t bring good equipment to the track or do not keep up with the changing track conditions. just because a driver is on HMS doesn’t guarentee them success.

@allenrw3 first 3/4 of the 2008 season they were the best hms car. top 4th or 3rd in points for about 20 races straight. consistently running top 5 top 10. and people have had many, many years to realize hes overrated, so if they havnt given up now they will never give up. im a Dale Jr fan for life. ive been a fan of his since he started racing the busch series in the late 90′s. the fact that hes “overrated” doesnt mean a damn thing to me, i will cheer for him no matter what.
@jrfan07 oh sorry, i forgot where he won that ONE race under yellow. you’re right. and no he was not, never has been the “best of the HMS cars”. as far as points go and leading laps he’s been dead last. and as soon as people realize he’s overrated they’ll quit wasting time pulling for him.
@allenrw3 first of all the shootout wasnt where he “peaked”. the first 3/4 of the 2008 season the 88 was the best of the hms cars. secondly, the realization of his “overrated” status wont cause him to win races lol.
this is where jr. pretty much peaks at hendrick motorsports. it’s been downhill for the past 2 years and will continue to until everyone realizes that he’s overrated.
jr is a good driver but usual his cars is either loose a motor blows or somethings rong with the car but he is a good driver

he has been overrated since february 2001 … hes a good driver but having the last name of a great one realy leaves some huge boots to try and fill, hes going to be better as years go by specially if he stays at hendrick. he’ll be much more better

Mark Martin sucks! if you cant win a championship but win alot of races, you are overrated, if you cant win a championsip and win just a handful of races, you are not that great. which is the category that Dale Earnsuck jr falls into

So if he wins 5,6 or even 7 races next season, you will be a fan again? just asking. because he lived up to your expectations. MArk Martin is one of the greats, his old ass hasnt got a championship yet ! A Cheap race…Edwards won like 3 races on gas and Johnson did the same in AZ this year.
