no, what happened that day, was that when he hit and his head hit the steering wheel, it broke the inside of his head. it’s called a basiliar skull fracture. that’s what did it, mostly. and yeah, people do have worse crashes than this every day but it was his time to go, and he left this earth doing what he loved. so all the haters, just shut your mouth. it’s quite ignorant to talk shit about a dead man. quit startin shit. and get a life.

Dale’s cause of death was, when he hit the wall his head (and neck) still kept moving forward though his car stopped in less than 1 second so his head and neck just (sort of) slammed forward on the steering wheel with fatal consequenses.
