Every time ESPN and ESPN on ABC has Sprint Cup coverage, I always muted the TV and listen to MRN/PRN/IMS radio coverage inside of the final ten laps on ovals and inside of the final five laps at Watkins Glen, the road course Disney covers.
I have been doing this since they edit out the other network commentators (Fox and TNT personnel) on their news shows.

lol. did you like watching the race more? even though the radio comes in first, it’s still very exciting and descriptive. and they explain a lot

You know what I did? I muted my TV and I turned my radio on MRN Radio, and I watched the Michigan race on my TV and listened to the radio broadcasting at the same time. I think I’ll do that from now on since people say MRN Radio can make any race exciting.
